My Passion for Family History

I’m Brandyn Cahill, and I’ve spent the past nine years deeply involved in genealogy—just as long as I’ve been married. Growing up in a blended family, I didn’t know who my father was. After taking a paternity test, which wasn’t legally binding, I learned the truth, but my father denied the results and refused to share anything about his family. Determined, I used genealogical research tools to uncover his parents, grandparents, and traced my roots back seven generations on both sides.

This journey introduced me to ancestors I’ll never meet and showed me how their everyday lives shaped my own. It also strengthened my faith in God, seeing how He worked through so many different circumstances to bring me into this world.
